Remove server from NDS 1

I have 2 server, primary (master) and secondary (R/W) with NW6, in the same nds. HDD on first server is broken and I have to reinstall NW6. What do I have to do, for re-installing my primary server?

Hi,

Promote a R/W to Master.
Remove NDS from the old Master.
Rebuild server and reinsert into the tree.
Afterwards you can promote it back to Master if you wish.
