Remove Exchange - Lab 1

I installed Exchange 2010 in a lab environment but there are some issues (EMS - Powershell) never installed. When I open the EMC some things in Tools do not work(message tracking/queues). I want to uninstall and try to reinstall but it wont uninstall as it tells me there are mailboxes associated with the database. I have removed both mailboxes (nothing is listed in disconnected mailboxes). Any help on how I can remove this and any ideas on why Powershell never installed?

Get-Mailbox -Arbitration -Database db1 | Remove-Mailbox -Arbitration -RemoveLastArbitrationMailboxAllowed
