Remove exchange 5.5 point outlook to exchange 2003 server

Hi

I'm in the middle of migrating from exchange5.5 to exchange 2003. Everything is going fine at the moment i'm just moving mailboxes and public folders across.

My setup
Exchange 5.5 on Win2000 server
Exchange 2003 on Win2003 server

When I've finished moving everything across to exchange2003 and ready to remove exchange5.5 from the domain, do I need to go to every workstation and redirect Outlook to the new exchange2003 server?, at present outlook it pointing to the exchange5.5 server. We are using outlook2000. Or will this just happen automatically when I've removed exchange5.5.

You may have a couple of accounts that will not automatically redirect but for the most part they will automatically redirect. I think maybe 1% will not redirect.

If anyone calls and says "I know a little something about computers" just tell them to reformat it.
