As for removing something before printing, that would have to be manually done. GW does not distinguish disclaimers from conversational text in an e-mail. Not that I know of. Printing double sided would be a function of the printer. As for editing a document sent as an attachment, the document could be edited by viewing it with GroupWise. But modifications can not be saved to the document as long as it resides as an attachment to a piece of mail. The only way to edit and save changes to a document received as an attachment in GW is to save the document to the local HD and make your changes. So if changes were made by the recipient of a document sent via GW. The sender could always show that the document did not contain those changes when he/she sent.
GW security is on the side of the users of the system. It has been stated this way by Novell themselves. I have had a couple of GW cracks, along w/others, that I used to get around user passwords, but were eventually discovered and fixed by GW developers. Hope this was of some help to you.
Later!
