Remove control character from text field

I would like to import a long text field into SQL SERVER, but need to remove any [enter] keystrokes from this field. Do you know of a command to do so?

example

declare @v varchar(5000)

select @v ='sdsds
sdsd
sdsd
sdsd'

select replace(@v, char(13) + char(10),'')
