Hi

I have recently had my computer attached to a network. Now even though I am no longer attached I still have all the printer and file shortcuts. How do I remove these and make the computer reset itself? I use Windows XP pro.

Thanks

Hans

Did you try right-clicking on the shortcuts and selecting delete?

For Drive Mappings:

Open Explorer.

Click tools, then Disconnect mapped drive. Select the mapped drive and click OK. Repeat process until all mappings are gone.

For Printer mappings:

Start/control panel/printers and faxes

Delete all printers you don't need by clicking each one and hitting the delete key, or by right clicking each one and selecting delete.
