remove an alternate phone number from ad users properties

I have inherited a windows network running AD that has everyones Date Of Birth entered into their AD properties via the 'telephone number - other' button on the AD users and computers properties page (general tab).

We have a company requirement to remove this information as it can be seen in a users outlook properties. Ideally we would move it to somewhere that cannot be seen in outlook properties but can be seen by domain admins looking in AD users and computers but if that isn't practical then we simply need to remove it.

Is this possible via vbscript? I have a very very limited knowledge of vb script so any help will be very much appreciated!

I am guessing that you can just set the value to either blank or 0
