Hi - I've beeen given 2 PCs which were previously networked
When I log on I'm presented with a username/password box - it accepts OK without me having to give a password, but I'd like to get rid of the previous login names etc - Can I just remove the .PWL file? Or must I tinker with the registry? I don't have any passwords for these PCs - As far as I can see there was previously an MS network

Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Network -> Change the Default network logon profile to Windows Logon.

If you don't want to use these networked, then you can remove the client for Microsoft networks, and if installed, the file/printer sharing for Microsoft networks as well.
