Does anyone know if it is possible to remotely end an application on a users desktop from another desktop?

Setup: Win2k Adv. Server and Win2k Pro Desktops

Situation: We have a customized database program that all employees use. Sometimes the database becomes corrupted and we have to go around from computer to computer closing out the application. If we were a smaller company this would not be an issue. Most of the time it takes longer for us to close everyone out than it does to fix the corruption.

Thanks in advance,
Shayne

Check out It's free and works well. Install it on the pc's and put it in the startup. Glen A. Johnson

Hi Shayne,

we have the same thing here, but we run Citrix Metaframe, and it is a lot easier to reset them when they get stuck

plus it is tone faster since they only use key strokes, freeing up the network

but Citrix is kind of expensive

Thanks for all the suggestions, but the PStools is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Much easier to create a batch file with all the workstations and run it anytime I need to close the application.

Thanks Again Everyone!!
