Remote view shows root folder only - no folders or files!

Hi,

I've been using DW for over a year on my laptop and just today I can't seem to see any folders or files on the remote side when I connect. I get the root '/

http://www/'

folder but nothing is under it. All my sites do this now so I can't see the remote files. And yes, the folders and files are actually on the server! DW just doesn't show them. Do I need to re-install?

Any ideas?

I'm surprised nobody has ever had this issue. Sometimes I can connect and see all the remote folders and files and sometimes I just get the root folder with nothing in it. If it's the latter, I won't be able to see it during the current session. It might work the next time I start up. Pain in the ass in any case! And yes, this is to many servers and not just one.
