Remote users and a password policy?

I was just wondering what you folks do about remote users and domain password policies?

Our company has a password policy of 90 days but we have remote users that either VPN or use OWA to login to get to the network or email.

After 90 days how would the OWA users change their password after is expires?

any ideas or best practices.
