Hi

I have a Netscreen 5xp running in my envorinment. My situation is as follows. I would like my remote clients to access the network using the Dialup connection on the firewall that I created. It is configured using the Auto Key and the users have been created. I have WINS and DNS running on this network. Netscreen remote have been installed and confiured on the clients machines. What do I have to do now to allow them to access the Win2k network.

I have tried going to Tools ,Map Network drive to establish the connection but this isnt working. What do I need to do.

Please help!!!

Thanks

What version of NSR are you running?

To establish a connection:
If <= 8.0, then open the MS Console and ping a server on the trusted side of your network or open IE and type the IP address of a server (e.g. \\192.168.1.x). If your virtual adapter is loaded then you may use the FQDN such as myserver.domainname.

If NSR is > than 8.0, then you may right-click on the NSR icon, select Connect... and click on the security policy you wish to connect to.

When you are successfully connected you will see a gold key below the Netscreen icon in the bottom right-hand corner.
