Trouble with setting up remote sync!
I have set up 2 remote servers and am santing to do a snapshot update weekly.
I have registered both servers (one SQL7, one SQL2K) under enterprise manager on the SQL2K server
As the snapshot is going from SQL7 to SQL2K it needs to use SQL2K as the distributor but I get the following message..
BIOCOD_02 SQL2K
BIOCODE_UK SQL7
---------------------------------------------------------
SQLServer Enterprise manager cound not be configure 'BIOCOD_02' as the Distributor for 'Biocode_UK'

Error 17: SQL Server does not exist or access is denied.
Remote logins for remote server 'repl_distributor' have been dropped
Server dropped
Server added
Server network name set.
----------------------------------------------------------

Please can some one help me on this one. Ive tried the KB and BOL

Cheers

Craig
