Remote start of VFP EXE files

I need to be able to startup an EXE on a LAN connected NT server from my workstation. I want to stop using PC Anywhere to do this.
So far I have tried a DCOM EXE to call the EXE I want when I want it. My required EXE loads but as a Process and not as a visible Application. In other words I want to Click a Shortcut on the NT Server Remotely.
Am I on the wrong track entirely?

Hi,
In a LAN environment, you can have the DESKTOP shortcut created with reference to the Networked Server unit. So when you click on the ICON your executable on the LAN shall work just like it works on the LOCAL unit.

You will be using the reference in a Local DeskTop as ..
MyDrive\MyDirectory\MyFile.exe

In a LAN you will have the reference as
\\MyLanServer\MyShare\MyDirectoryInTheShare\MyFile.exe
This will be faster

So you dont need to use any pcAnyWhere or DCOM in a LAN.

This makes my workstation run the EXE when in fact I want the NT Server to do all the work. I only want to be able to start the EXE from the workstation, leaving the NT box to get on with the work on its own.
This is what I can do with PC Anywhere - connect to the NT Server, Click a Shortcut on the NT Server Desktop to start the EXE, the NT Server loads and runs the program itself and I can drop the PC Anywhere session leaving the NT Server to get on with it on its own.

It's my fault for not making that clear, sorry.
