Remote Phone and CenturyLink Ubee Cable Modem 3

Just wanted to give back some hard-earned vigorous knowledge to this wonderful forum.

I just spent 5-6 hours trouble shooting a remote phone registration issue on Ip500 R9.0. Phone would register then unregister with "reason 6" code. Three other remote phones were/are working perfectly.

Issue was with CenturyLink Ubee cable modem/router. It had H.225 (signaling protocol) enabled by default. This was interferring with the Avaya VoIP signaling (registering) protocol. Just un-check this option on the Ubee and the phone registered perfectly.
