I'm looking for a modem setup or init sequence that will work with the Conexant modems commonly found in Dell Laptops. Since I upgraded the laptop I use for accessing Nortel PBX's I can't get a useable connection. The old laptop had a diferent vendor modem and worked flawlessly, until the laptop smoked.
