Remote location situation

I have two locations - one in Las Vegas, one in Dallas... I tried both copies, one .MDE and one .MDB of the same database... Betatested on local machine (both copies) in Las Vegas produced no errors... Tested full version copies (both .MDE & .MDB produced errors)... Both sites are full, complete installations of Access 97 Sr2... Why could this be happening...

Please advise!!

There is no specific error messages that could be caused by the delay... Error Messages such as "Unable to find source..." and such like that has us completely baffled when the database isn't even linked... It's completely self-sufficient... At this point, we're looking at using Terminal Servers to help speed up the connection, but that doesn't help with the errors...
