I recently purchased BE 10.0 and installed it on several servers without any problems. I would also like to install the desktop and laptop client on serveral workstations so they can be included in the nightly backups.

My problem comes when I try to remotely install the client on the workstations. All workstations are part of our domain but regardless of what account I try to use when prompted by the Veritas remote installer I get access denied. Even if I try to authenticate using the local admin password on the workstation I still get denied.

The error message I get isnt particularly helpful and I can't find much help on the Veritas website. Does anyone have any idea whats happening here. I have checked to make sure the accounts I'm using have admin rights on the workstations.

Any ideas?

usually you would push it with a Domain Admin Account and not use the local admin account.
Can you map a drive from the media server to a workstation c$ without being prompted for credentials?

I tried just about every account I could think of including the domains Administrator account, my own (which is a domain admin) and the local admin account on the machine, and still got the access denied.

I have no permissions problems normally. I can quite happily access and workstations remoted from the server, and the server from the workstation too.
