Hi Can anyone shed anylight on this problem.

I have a remote phone setup and the phone connects and I can dial out etc. When I make an internal call the call is setup but when it comes to sppech we can not hear each other, but if ring the same remote user on a DDI number the call works perfectly no speech issues at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have checked every port and dropped the IPECS into the DMZ but still same problem.

Thanks,
Colin

Hi Colin,

I would check PGM 102/103, to see that the MFIM IP Address is on the same LAN as the Routers IP (Gateway IP), and also ensure that the System IP Address range is also on the same LAN.
I have had issues before when the MFIM is for example on a 192.168.1.x address router is 192.168.1.y but Device range is 10.10.10.2-254

Also check:
PGM 102/103 - Firewall IP Address is set (this is the fixed Public WAN IP Address)
PGM 132 (Seq of the VoIP Gateway) that there is a Firewall IP Address and router IP address but no RTP Firewall IP.
Note that the router ip will not save on the internal VoIP gateway, as its built in and uses the settings from PGM 102/103

Regards
Steve
