I am replacing several printers that networked via my NT 4 print server, which are widely used throughout 200+ users. Does anybody know a way I can install the new printers, either via a batch or logon script or something so I can do it remotely rather than physically doing workstation by workstation? The workstations are combo of Win9X, NT and Win 2000 Pro.
Thanks

You could use the NET USE command in a login script to setup the printer.

Try

NET USE LPT1: \\<computer name>\<printer name> <password> /SAVEPW:YES /YES

The last /YES is just to automatically answer YES to and questions. If you don't have a password on the printer you can leave out the /SAVEPW:YES bit.

New Zealand, a great place to visit.
