I've run into my first problem with remote desktop connection and printing.

The printer is an HP 2410 all-in-one.
The HP 2410 is connected via USB to the home PC.
I can only install the full software suite on the remote machine. When running the add printer wizard it is unable to find the driver itself on the CD. I have to run the full install from the CD. HP site does not have just the driver.

I've done this for other USB connected printers with no problem.

What could be the issue?

Thanks

Going from experience with HP Printers, they seem to force you into installing the whole software suit and not just a driver.
I have tried to do this myself with no luck on several customers machines, it's all or nothing with HP by the looks of things, they don't appear to have any 'driver only' packages for download. so it's not really an issue, more of a let down on HP's part (IMHO)

I have both an HP and an Epson connected to a pc at home and the same applied there...driver only for the Epson, whole flipping lot for the HP!

Sorry I can't give you good news.
