I want to be able to remote desktop into clients on our domain. Can anyone help?

What OS are the clients running?

Sorry about that, I am running a 2000 server, Clients are xp pro.

Tightvnc is what I use, and Ive had no problems, i find it very useful for remote desktop work,

You install the tightvnc on all the desktops you want to remote too, it will ask you to set up a password.

Then you can install on the server, and use the tightvnc viewer to look at any desktop within the domain..

Heres the link,
Ive used it on my domain for 1 year now, and have no complaints....hope this helps

Since the desktops are XP Pro, you can use the built-in Remote Desktop Connection. Install the XP version on the 2000 server, and then set each XP workstation to permit remote control (right click "My Computer", then choose the Remote tab).

The VNC can also be used.

The integrated Windows XP Remote Desktop works OK, but I could never figure out a way to make a shared session. That is, every time I tried to connect to a remote XP system it would black out the screen at the user's PC and the user was unable to interact. Basically I would have exclusive control. That wasn't very helpful because I like to be able to remotely access the system while the user is logged in and tell them to "show me what you're doing that generates the error message".

At my site we use VNC/TightVNC, which for the most part works really well. I've also taken it a step further and started using VNCon, which is a nice little management console for VNC that adds additional features like the ability to remotely install/uninstall VNC, remote reset the password, etc. It works with most VNC variants and it is also free, so if you use VNC it's definitely worth looking into.
