Hello Ladies & Gents,

At face value this issue seemed relativly easy to solve and i have done on several occasions but this time it is not playing ball, all help is really apprecated.

I am beging presented with the followin error messsage when attempting to connect to the server through RDC.

'The client could not connect to the remote computer.

Remote connections might not be enabled or the computer may be too busy to accept new connections. It is also possible that network problems are preventing your connection.

Please try connecting again later, if the problem continues to occur, contact your administrator.'

We have only has this issue since the server performed a scheduled re-boot using a script over the weekend.

I have re-started the server a few times since then and thier is still no resolve, all services seem to be running correctly and thier are no other connections to the server.

I have also tried to establish a connection from several other locations, none of which work. other than this the server seems to be running correctly, all internet comectivity and VPN's seem un affacted.

We really need this connection up and running for some remote Admin, any suggestions?

Thanks in advance. (all appolgies for any spelling mistakes)

1. Check the event Logs to see if there is a Licensing issue.

2. What OS are these clients running ?. Windows 98 needs CALS installed in order access Terminal Services. When you connect the first few times the Server assigns a Temporary license.

3. What mode is TS installed on the Server ? Administration mode or application mode ?

go to the administive tool and under the service, check to see if all the terminal service and remote desktop related services are running, they may have been disabled or set to manual since your last reboot
