Remote Desktop automated..

I want to be able to allow users access to their own desktops via Remote Desktop. Is there a way to configure their windows firewall via group policy to allow only the terminal server into Remote Desktop?
Also, is there a way to have people log onto a Terminal Server, have an shortcut icon on their desktop and based on their username, configure the shortcut to automatically log into their specific computer?
