Friends,

It is becoming increasingly necessary to allow people to remote call forward phones. I do realize that DISA is necessary. Does anyone have the exact process needed to do this. I tried to look at the NTP's and could not get a clear picture.

Thanks in advance

Package 22 necessary LD 22 prt pkg
Then
LD 24

DN xxxx
SCPW "your password"
COS TLD
NCOS xx

Then dial DISA number. On tone type pwd then dial anything you want

CLS TLD?? No no no. That allows calls to leave the system. If the request is RCFW, I highly suggest that is ALL we advise...not a new way to call Grandma on the company tab.

CLS FR2 - impossible to connect to anything except other extensions. Cannot be transfered with insider assistance. It is the most restrictive CLS that exists....and it allows Remote CFW.

We made a "calculator" for the string of digits, but first things first:

Now the instructions. This assumes you used the RCFA and RCFD values in my example above

Remote Call Forward
Activate-Deactivate from Anywhere

Activate Call Forward:

•Dial: (your CLS=FR2 DISA number). You will hear dial tone
•Dial: # # * * 29029 (LD11 SCPW assigned in example above)
•Dial: Your Extension, hear dial tone
•Dial: Extension to Forward calls to, then #
•Now hang up

Calls are forwarded - CFW indicator on phone is lit.

De-activate Call Forward:

•Dial: (your CLS=FR2 DISA number) You will hear dial tone
•Dial: * * # # 29029 (LD11 SCPW assigned in example above)
•Dial: Your Extension, hear dial tone
•Now hang up

Calls are no longer forwarded

It depends what's you are waiting from your DISA. For Remote call forward, sure TLD is not the one. But if you wish your co workers use DISA for through dialing, why not TLD.

Sure DISA have to be carefully set up. Hacking is still running from some countries...

GHTROUT, thank you very much friend. I will give it a shot and see what happens.

Followed the direction to a T but unfortunstely it did not work. I dial the DISA DID and get a secondary tone, then ##** and followe by SCPW, then I dial my ext and DO NOT hear a dial tone, few seconds, I get re-order tone. Does NCOS, TGAR have anything to do with it?...thanks

Everytone deserves a star I see

lamasu: Oops, I wrote it backwards I guess. I did make a neat little calculator for those who are curious. It seems simple, but how many times have I goofed the series of digits!

Check it out - a simple Excel file, one sheet you enter the "facts" and the other sheet you can tweak for a waller card instruction guide. Excel files is protected, but there is no password, just unprotect and change anything as you wish.

You bailed me out GTROUT, you deserve TWO.

Can with RCFW , forward call to external number ? (if I take care of this)

Wolfi

You can RCFW to external if the phone has CLS CFXA and you may need to change the CDB from CFO to CFF.
