Is there anyway to make the system send out the caller ID information of the calling party when a user is forwarding there desk phone to a remote location (home, cell phone, etc.). Currently the system only presents the DID number of the forwarded phone to the remote endpoint. I came across another post which mentioned using SS in the shortcode. However, when I inserted SS into my ARS table calls would no longer complete successfully.

Should work as long as your provider lets you send the digits.
I would, however, create a new ARS for call forwards, trunk access 9 for example, so not to interfere with normal dialling out.
