Remote Assistnace & Scribble/ Notepad

Is there any way I can get remote desktop assistance to access my friend's PC (the msn thing is not working, tried best though; connection could not be established. Firewall was disabled, Antivirus was diabled)...

If I could login into friend's PC is there any scribblepad software through which I can teach maths kinda stuff(involving symbols, etc) so that my friend could feel easy to understand...

If you're trying to connect to another computer somewhere not in your same network, I would sign up to Logmein (the free version) and then install it on his computer too.
Then just take control and use notepad, mspaint, or something like that to draw your math problems...
