Remote Assistance - annoying bug!!!

Just wanted to ask if anyone else has had this problem and if so, how do I resolve it?
My partner wanted to use a program on her account on my pc at home, but i wasnt there to put in password to override parental controls, I tried connecting to my pc at home via remote assistance from the pc at work to input the password to give her permission to use the prog, but every time i tried going into parental controls in control panel the screen just goes black and it says the remote assistance session is paused and i cant un-pause it!!!
It did the same when i tried running the prog she wants to use and put the password in when the box pops up.
both pc's are running vista home premium.
