Remote announcement admin

Does anyone know of a way to allow access to administer announcements? I have tried the "route-to" step in a vector and used the fac and even went down to announcement number, but that did not work. Any ideas?

I don't know exactly what you are trying to say here, but I guess, you ask here how you add or change an announcement, right?
What you have to do is check the FAQ number for announcements,and remember it
Then you add an empty announcement into the system by doing a "cha ann" , here you assign an extension to the announcement,set the quality, and the board location of an announcement board.
(start here if you are re-recording an existing one)
dial the number of the FAQ from a phone, followed by the extension number of the announcement, you should get dial tone again.
Now enter a 1 for recording your message, 2 for listening back, 3 delete the announcement.
After you are done you do a "change announcement" again and set the protected field to Y just to be safe.

Use remote access. Make sure that the COS for the barrier code has a COS with console permissions.

Chuck, Can you elaborate on the remote access and barrier codes? This is something I am not familiar with.
And I apologize that I did not state that I was trying to admin announcements from offsite. Thanks!
