Hello,

We have been asked to come up with a solution to remotely login in an agent for DRP purposes. I was checking around, but the only example I could find was the one listed below, but I can't seem to get it to work.

Direct a DID to a VDN

1. Wait 2 seconds hearing ringback.
2. Collect 10 digits after announcement none.
3. Go to step 5 if digits = 1234567890. (acts like a password)
4. Disconnect after announcement none. (Disconnects if invalid password)
5. Route to *84 with coverage n if unconditionally. (This is the login
FAC. Once the switch dials the FAC you can input the agent login.)

Not that I am asking for some hand holding, ok I am, but does anyone have a complete example?

Thanks
Barry

What if you tried to use the above vector commands and then route it to the remote access form extension number.

The remote access form could have a barrier code assigned for double security and once the caller receives dial tone from the remote access they can dial the *84 and the agent ID to login the agent.

I was also thinking of of using the converse on step passing digits *84 and <agent number>, however, you would have to put the remote access extension in a hunt group (which I am not sure you can do) and converse-on to split <hunt group number> passing *84 and <agent number>, or passing <barrier code> and *84.

Just a thought.
