Remote Admin password - challenge???

I am dialing into the INADs port of a Definity G3. The previous staff didn't leave us the remote passwords and I am trying the passwords I use to get onto the console, cust/cust1

At the login prompt I type in cust and I get the following response:

challenge: 427-3789 product id: 1003040224
Response:

Does anyone know what the 'response' is? I tried password of cust1 but it says 'access denied'

Access Security Gateway (ASG)
your challenge is every time different.

You have to call Avaya and ask them to disable
the ASG key for the customer login.

We no longer have a maintenance contract with Ayaya. Any way around this?

If you are getting "Access Denied" that means customer access to inads is set to no, only Avaya can change that.

I think what your looking for is for Avaya to give you a temporary login. Usually dadmin which will give you maintanancem permissions as well.
