I want to be able to access the local hard drive on a WinXP Pro machine that is accessing a W2K machine via terminal services. What is the best way to do this? Do I need Citrix in order to achieve or will the regular Terminal Services client permit access to local hard drive. Thanks in advance for your assistance and suggestions.

Is the XP machine part of your domain?

If so: just connect to it's admin share "C$" via it's IP address

Start | Run | \\XP's IP address\c$

That should do it! then map it so you don't have to do start run every time!

if it's not part of your domain, or is external, you will need an account setup on the xp machine itself so you can connect to it via the ip addy and admin share..

hope that helps!
