reminder when NEW FILES arrive in a map 1

Hi there,

I wander if a program exists that creates an alert
(e-mail or message on the screen) when new files
are added to certain folders.

This could be very handy to do some follow-up on the
activity on our FTP server.

Now we I have to look myself several times a day to
see if someone dropped a file on our FTP server.
