Relocating Quick Launch Bar?

For some reason my Quick Launch Bar appears on the right end of the task bar. Is there a way to move it back to the left end next to the start button? I've already tried; rebooting,turning the bar off and back on, and dragging and dropping. Any other suggestions?

Amazing. I always swore it was not possible to relocate this on the taskbar.

beside the quick launch buttons there is a line that goes up and down. When you put your mouse on it it changes the mouse to look like <-> click and hold, then pull it over to the start menu, it should move it over from there.
