Release/Renew problem after Win2k SP4

I am having a problem on my laptop that appears when I go from the office to home. This was working fine for the last year and now when I get home I cant get a new address. I tried to do a release or renew and it just hangs after the command and never comes back with any response. I can change the NOC card and try to renew and it does the same. I am forced to reboot each time. It does not seem like a NIC or DHCP issue and I think it started right after SP4 was installed.

Has anyone else seen this. I guess I could try removing SP4 but would rather not.

Reinstalled SP4 appears to have fixed the problem.
