My company has a Windows NT Server that we want to relay e-mail sent from it via our Exchange 2000 Server on a Windows 2000 Server.
The relaying works but it changes the e-mail of the sending individual.
I.E.
From our WINNT server we send e-mails with the
sender being myemail@winntdomain.com
But when relaying through the Exchange 2000 server
it authenticates the sender's e-mail and uses the
default e-mail of the sender.
I.E. In Exchange 2000 my reply e-mail is myemail@win2000.com. So when I send relay e-mails with the sending e-mail as myemail@winntdomain.com it gets changed to myemail@win2000.com. Is there anyway when relaying through an Exchange 2000 server to keep the original sender's e-mail?
Thank you
