Relative vs. Absolute links 1

I use Dreamweaver 2004 MX and I have an annoying issue that I hope there is a solution for.

A lot of the links go in as relative to the current document instead of absolute from the root of the website.

For example... a lot of my links look like this: ..\..\..\consulting\images\pic1.jpg

I would like them to read:
\consulting\images\pic1.jpg or whatever the actual path would be.

Is there a way to change the way Dreamweaver handles this?

Thanks.

When you create a link you have the option to select document or site relative.
