Relationships/data fields

Hi:I am a vistor to this forum and looking for some direction. I writing a project in VFP7. . .(banking/mortgages).
With all the various legal documents/loan appliactions/contruction costs lists etc. I have a lota relationships. . .1-1, 1-many and many-many.
I have the screens built/reports printouts built and now I have to setup in the fields and relationships.
Want to follow to the data base rules to integrity etc.
Have about 3500 different fields with a ton of relationships required. Any suggestions/software ideas on how to approach this design problem?

Hi,
Though I have not personally used it, I think ERWIN is the most useful relational database designing software.
