Relating Forms

I have a created 2 Forms in Access 2003. On the main form, I have check box and if the check box is checked, the 2nd form opens. Data is abled to be entered in the second form and captured in a table.

I would like a person to re-enter the main form and if the check box is checked again, the data that was entered in the 2nd form before, would appear again.

Your post is a little short of information. For example, is the second form a bound form? Is the person entering information against some key that appears on the main form? Is the user entering general information for some unknown purpose?

Please include a little background and a note on what you hope to achieve. Tek-Tips is more than just a forum where you feed a question in and get an answer out.

Thank you for your time on this matter.

Both forms are bound by 2 separate tables. However, I did populate table #1, that correponds to the main form, with the fields that corresponds to the second form.

The second form is to provide a Point of Contact (POC) for an item on the main form. We want the POC to be linked to that specific item on the main form.

So is the main form divided into form and subform? If so, is the checkbox belonging to the form or subform? Have you got an ID, for example can you write the ID that was created on second form back to a hidden control on the first form and the open the second form to that ID? Openargs would probably work quite nicely, if this idea would suit.
