Hello guys,

I just wana ask if how can I add a related documents file in my VB project. I want to add a jpg or xml file that will be included in the related documents category of my project explorer? Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks

thanks alehawk for sharing some info, what i want is to create a manifest codes for my vb application which i want my control to look like XP.

1. Choose 'Project>Add File...' from the menu (or press Ctrl+D) to bring the Add File dialog.
2. Choose 'All Files (*.*)' from the filter.
3. Locate and select your JPG file.
4. Select the check box 'Add As Related Document' and click 'Open'.

The JPG file will be added to the project explorer as a related document.
 
Also,

1) From the list of available addins (Add-Ins -> Add-in Manager in the menu), load VB 6 Resource Editor.

2) From the tools menu, open the Resource Editor Window.

3) Select the "Add Custom Resource" toolbar button, and you will be prompted with a Dialog asking you to select the file. Select your JPG, and click Open.

4) Save the resource file.
