I am having a problem logging into rel 21. I know the password is ok but it will not let me in. I read a previous thread stating there was an issue with being logged into the switch in a load and not logging out then you cannot log back in. My question is I can log into the mermail using LOGO and the default mermail pass then using ax. Does this mean myother passes should work or could it still be locked in maintenance?

if your in an opt 11 after you log into the switch, you can ax to mail.. if you can't logi the switch, then you can not get to mermail in the 11.. mermail does not use the logi prompt, either username and password, or just password depending on the rls.. if you KNOW the password and can not logi, someone changed it or tried to logi to many times. if so a return will give you an ovl 400, that can last up to 24 hours, depending on pwd params in the cdb
