Reiserfs, NCR53c875 SCSI controller and 2.6.4-2 kernel

Dear all,

we tried to install on our Suse 8.2Pro system the linux-2.6.4.SUSE
kernel downloaded from the ftp.suse.com/pub/people/mantel/next location.

After these steps - make mrproper; make menuconfig; make bzImage;
make modules; make modules_install - we copied the bzImage + System.map
to the /boot dir but the next command #mkinitrd failed with this message:

creating initrd "/boot/initrd" for kernel "/boot/vmlinuz"

ncr53c8xx: no such module
reiserfs: no such module
- splash picture (1280x1024)

creating initrd "/boot/initrd.shipped" for kernel "/boot/vmlinuz.shipped"
(version 2.4.20-64GB-SMP)
- insmod ncr53c8xx (kernel/drivers/scsi/ncr53c8xx.o)
- insmod reiserfs (kernel/fs/reiserfs/reiserfs.o)
- splash picture (1280x1024)

Any idea how to correct this situation?
