Reinstalled WINS: what PC's do I need to reboot?

I just reinstalled WINS on all my servers. There is some confusion here re: the PC's that need to be rebooted. Someone says that ALL servers on the network as well as client PC's need to be rebotted. Someone else says that only the WINS servers need to be rebooted.

Could someone please advise?

Every time a PC is rebooted, it will attempt to contact and register itself with a WINS server. This is the same for a server.

I think though, that a PC will try to reregister/renew its NetBIOS name with a WINS server periodically though, so realistically you should be able to get away without rebooting any of them.

Thanks dhawthorn. We rebotted the WINS servers only and everything worked out.
