RegQueryValueEx Error 87 under Win9x

hi,

i'm trying to read a registry key with the function RegQueryValueEx. everything works fine under Win2000/XP, but under win 9x it returns error 87 - invalid parameter.

May be You try to read HKEY_PERFORMANCE_DATA ? Or try to read an empty key (there are another default values on win9x)? Or try to work with Registry on remote computer?
