My server did something wierd this morning after a few updates. Then entire HKLM-Software-Classes folders had no permissions on them. I was able to remotely fix this but there is one more key I can not seem to correct.
I used regmon to see why my QB app was not able to run locally and it seems to be the following key.
HKCR\CLSID\{2D0E74B6-021A-11D5-9054-00508BF70A94}. I have opened regedt32 and this key is greyed out.
When I open the permissions on this key it says "you dont have permissions to view... but you can make permissions changes. OK". When it opens it is blank, no users at all.
How do I add accounts.
