Hi there,

IN WXP's IE6, when accessing some url, prompting for username/password, after ticked the checkbox "save my password", the username/password entry is saved in "stored user name & password" for each individual user account.

Say on WXP machine I got 5 local user account, if go through registry, wondering can I mass delete "stored user name & password" for all 5 local user accounts? If so, can you tell me which registry key?

Many thanks!

. The entries are stored per user. The per user registry (HKEY_Current_User) is a unique file stored as part of each user profile. It is not centralized as you describe.

. The entries are encrypted, and cannot be edited in any realistic fashion through a registry editor. The best that you can do is to Start, Run, control userpasswords2 and use the Advanced tab - Paswords and .NET passwords to edit individual entries.
