Registry checker keeps running 1

without actually solving anything.

We have tried back ups of the registry with no success.

Any help would be appreciated.

That's a vague question. You could give some better details!

If the registry checker runs on a continual basis, the problem could be a bad RAM chip.

If your congfiguration allows for it, remove one chip and see if the problem still occurs.

Thanks reghakr - that was indeed the problem. Replacing the RAM chip fixed the problem.
