Please, if somebody can help me out. When you right-click in the Start menu in windows it appears a menu, I need an application that it's installed there, I understand that the menu it's created in the registry. How can I access the application and call it from my VB6 project?

thank you all

Start menu is treated just like a folder, located at:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu

or, if you only want this to apply to a particular user, change "All Users" to the particular user profile.

Place a shortcut to your application there. No need to play with the registry.

I don't understand why you feel that the app needs to be there in order to call it from VB.

the thing is this:

- I go to the folder and the application is there

- and I right-click the windows start and a menu of the application appears, which it does not appear on the folder.

- I need the part that appears in the right-click menu not the folder .exe application

I hope I did not mess you up

Thanks for responding
