if i have a registred trademark and the domain is taken
what can i do?

ej: Pepe
    Pepe.com
ahhh :eek:) that depends... on about a million different things.

The short answer is... find a different page. I mean, Prince Spaghetti and Prince tennis rackets can't share a domain name, but they both have a registered trademark.. and if you go to prince.com, you'll notice neither of those two are even the ones with the domain. (Prince tennis rackets actually went to court with some european company who had the domain they wanted and lost.)

If you really think you deserve the domain name and it'll hurt your business to pick a different name, talk to the people for that site and find out what their claim to the domain is. Sometimes, "we had the name first" is valid enough for them to keep it. Sometimes not. If you really think that you deserve the name and friendly talks with their webmaster don't cut it, consult a lawyer about your options. Best of luck.
Liam Morley
lmorley@wpi.edu
<a href=] :: imotic :: website :: [
"light the deep, and bring silence to the world.
