We have Session Managers in locations for specific regions that we have a presence. I don't want to have to build multiple software packages to have the US users of IX Workplace register to the US SMs, a EMEA version for the European users to register to the European SMs, APAC to register to the AUS SMs, etc.

Do any of you have this issue and is there a way to work with the networking teams to build an FQDN that can in anyway determine something like OSPF to have the application register to the closest SM?

What are you doing at your company?

At the least, I think that we will have to just point them all to the primary location like we do with ProcR now and then choose an SM as backup at one of the other locations.
